Each of our Kantha Quilts have been hand-stitched by craftswomen in rural North India using traditional methods iconic to the region. These unique and beautiful throws are handmade using layers of hand block printed fabric quilted together with thousands of small stitches.

Beautifully versatile, these reversable quilts can be used as throws, bedspreads, wall hangings, tablecloths, floor mats... the opportunities are endless... Either way, we are sure this Kantha will be cherished for years to come.

The process of block printing is both labor and time intensive, requiring a tremendous amount of skill. The artisans who make these pieces work with their hands from begging to end of the production process, from hand-looming the cotton, to carving the printing blocks, to dying the fabric.
