A true tribal treasure, this authentic Indian 'Parat bowl' was once used to knead and mix dough for roti/chapati breads. Handcarved from a single piece of native Indian hardwood, not only is each piece totally unique in colour, pattern and finish, but each bowl also has it's own individual form and tells the story of the hands it was carved by.
These very special bowls make stunning centre pieces to any table, and can be used like any other bowl, for fruit, bread or bits and bobs. However we think they also look incredible left empty on coffee tables, sideboards or shelves, as their history and and character makes them a talking piece all on their own.
Please note: This object is a rare vintage item and each has it's own story, therefore signs of it's age and history are visible.
