Our vintage Moroccan 'Bousbaa' rugs have been skilfully handwoven using traditional methods and originate from small berber tribes.
These understated and chic styles originate from the vast desert land west of Marrakech where goats are plentiful, and an important part of day to day life. The warps are therefore hand spun wool and the wefts are of natural un-dyed goat hair.
Owing to the mild climate, the rugs of this region are tightly knotted in a delicate flat-weave and are made to such a hardwearing nature to withstand use both indoors and out.
